We are seeking an LPN.

  • At least 2 years’ experience as an LPN.
  • Prior experience in urogynecology, urology, or general gynecology.
  • Interest in assisting in office procedures such as cystoscopy and willingness to learn how to perform urodynamic tests independently (with in-office physician supervision) as clinic volumes increase.
  • Prior experience in private practice.
  • Evidence of being a highly motivated clinically efficient individual.
  • Good "customer service" people skills to assist with patient calls.
  • Ability to be flexible as clinical needs change as this practice is brand new and will be a work in progress as we grow.
  • Position will be based in Northern, VA and will require travel throughout Virginia and Maryland

Successful candidate would room patients every 20 to 30 minutes and rooming process would involve obtaining standard vitals but also having the patient urinate, obtaining a post-void residual and/or urinalysis, and setting the patient up for an in-office test or procedure. Patients may be elderly, and this process may be prolonged for some with urinary difficulties so the ideal candidate would need to have the ability to juggle the rooming of several patients at once and toggling multiple rooms to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Additional Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN school.
Certifications: BLS Certification (from the American Heart Association).
Licensure: Eligible for licensing in the commonwealth of Virginia as a LPN.
Skills: Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.
