The Practice Manager will be responsible for handling the daily management of all 3 Practice locations within Reiter, Hill & Johnson of Advantia- Chevy Chase, Washington D.C., and Falls Church. The job duties include marketing and patient recruitment, handling clinical and business operations, planning, budgeting, staffing and payroll in accordance with Advantia Health policies and procedures. The Practice Manager will provide leadership and support to all members of the Reiter, Hill & Johnson team and will hold the team accountable to the highest levels of customer service performance, while maintaining compliance to quality metrics set forth by Advantia Health.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee a seamless and efficient business management system aligned with key outcomes
  • Provide oversight and management to all practice staff including billing/coding personnel, front desk staff
  • Manage and monitor all practice activities ensuring adherence to employee handbook guidelines and policies and procedures; provide coaching and training where needed
  • Develop quality control processes that are measurable and supported by appropriate reporting and analytics
  • Handle all patient-related issues inclusive of complaints, problem solving, disturbances, special requests and any other concerns that may arise
  • Coordinate and delegate daily activities in the office
  • Maintain staff scheduling and execute payroll related activities for the clinic
  • Establish annual clinic budget and monitor P&L, including overseeing operating expenses and purchasing, reimbursement and collection activities, and working with practice staff, providers, and Advantia’s finance team to identify billing codes and revenue opportunities
  • Develop and execute process improvements for clinical and financial opportunity areas
  • Assist with the execution of marketing plans to drive clinic utilization targets
  • Hold department meetings keeping staff informed of all activities in the clinic, reinforcing customer service standards, reviewing performance metrics and promoting a strong team atmosphere
  • Accountable for reviewing and developing action plans to maintain a Net Promoter Score greater than 90
  • Aware and able to enforce all environmental, compliance, and clinical safety precautions by establishing and maintaining up to date onsite policy and procedure manuals under the guidelines of Advantia Health

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of business or other qualifying degree and/or experience
  • 5+ years experience managing physician offices; preferred OBGYN Practice experience
  • Prior experience in new location development and revenue cycle management preferred
  • Must be tech savvy and able to learn multiple information platforms

Compensation for this role is between $90,000-$120,000 and is based on experience.
