Advantia currently has a need for a dynamic Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Health Care team. As a member of the team, the LCSW will work closely with various internal team members and providers, including primary care, gynecology, and obstetrics to support whole person care delivery for women. This role will be based out of our Silver Spring, Maryland office. We are open to this position being hybrid, working a combination of in-office and remotely.

Expectations of the LCSW is to diagnose and treat mental, behavioral, and emotional disorders, including anxiety and depression. This role will also work to provide individual, group, family, and couples therapy to members. Additionally, the mental health provider will work with clients to develop strategies to change behavior or cope with difficult situations; and refer clients to other resources or services, such as support groups or other mental health professionals. The LCSW will develop treatment plans with the client, doctors, and other healthcare professionals and may adjust the treatment plan when necessary based on the client’s progress. There is an opportunity for this individual to build the integrated mental health model that aligns with clinical, environmental, and social aspects of care delivery working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team.

Operational and quality metrics will be tracked and reported quarterly.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide various outpatient mental health services with the goal of patient recovery.
  • Conduct intakes and monitor individual, group, and family therapies.
  • Develop service plans and conduct reviews as needed throughout the duration of treatment.
  • Provide mental health assessments, counseling, referrals, and intervention services.
  • Complete and maintain documentation according to federal and state guidelines.
  • Support community events for our members, particularly events focused on mental health and wellness.

Job Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in a mental health-related field of study, such as clinical mental health counseling, psychology, or social work
  • Experience in a small, fast paced company environment
  • Licensure in MD. Will consider completion of licensure within 90 days of hire.
  • Candidate will be credentialed with third party payers to be completed within the first 90-120 days of hire
