Advantia is seeking a Patient Breast Care Coordinator to join our team! As a Patient Breast Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring coordination efforts with patients seeking mammography services throughout the Advantia Practices. The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication, and organizational skills, and work in a fast paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate appointments, procedures, and consultations with various healthcare providers and services.
  • Serves as a point of contact between the patient and imaging facility.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other staff, to ensure a cohesive care plan for patients.
  • Ensure patients receive their diagnosis in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and be available to receive calls during business hours and return calls in a timely manner.
  • Verify patient insurance information and communicate coverage details to both patients and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Organize and manage patient records to support efficient access and retrieval.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Previous experience in women’s health, healthcare coordination, and patient services preferred.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare technology, including healthcare claims and electronic health record (EHR) data, CPT and ICD codes a plus.
  • Experience working with Athena is strongly preferred.
